Gloria (13) is the daugther of a famous dj-duo. When the duo quits, Naomi and Serge also eind their marriage. Gloria starts to despise her father, because she thinks he's the reason why her parents split. In the meantime she idolizes her mom. She also feels responsable for her moms happiness, and her mom makes use of this while finalizing the divorce. She doesn't really click with her peers and she realizes her closeness with her mom is in the way of her self-development. 'Beats of Love' is a musical film about the 'divorce' between Gloria and her eccentric mom.
