Synopsis
Ariane, Marie-Cécile, Mourit and Joseph are "rich Africans", members of the Benin Lions Club. They are not the same age and have different careers but they share a desire for power, money and freedom of expression - a dynamic that drives an ever-growing section of the population. The globalisation of the economy has seen the creation of a class of nouveau riche that is attracted to the influence of a Club that blurs that lines between business and charity.
Through their daily lives, from their uniformed workplaces and galas to their family living rooms, they describe the draw of the Lions Club, which conveys the transformation taking place in African society.
