A third one was adopted by Americans at the age of one and, now 14, tries to understand the conflict from afar. The fourth, confined to a wheelchair after a serious accident, is trying to keep the family together.

Cast announcement for the Chapel, Dominique Deruddere's latest film

We just started shooting 'The Chapel' and we're more than excited to share our cast with you: Kevin Janssens, Ruth Becquart, Josse De Pauw, Abigail Abraham... Taeke Nicolaï takes on the lead role of Jennifer, a young virtuoso pianist whose past resurfaces while isolated in 'The Chapel', where she prepares for the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition alongside 11 other finalists.

Dealer premiers at Fantastic Fest Austin and Film Fest Gent

We're happy to share with you that 'Dealer' will have its worldwide premiere at Fantastic Fest Austin (23-30 September) and its European premiere at Film Fest Gent (17th October). The film will be available to watch in Belgian theaters from the 10th of November on.

Veerle Baetens started shooting The Melting

As of the beginning of August actress turned director Veerle Baetens has started shooting our new production 'The Melting'. The casts features big Flemish names such as Charlotte De Bruyne, Naomi Velissariou, Sebastien Dewaele and so on, but also includes young, upcoming and promising actors. A second shooting period will be held next Winter.

Bullhead 'Best Flemish Film Ever', D'Ardennen Runner-Up

Yesterday, Belgian film magazine Vertigo presented the Best Flemish Film Ever Award to 'Bullhead' ('Rundskop'). It's the the sixth time Michaël R. Roskams film gets the honour. This year, Robin Pronts 'D'Ardennen' joined the stage as one of the runner-ups.

Support for our Dutch coproductions

Celebrations! Two of our Dutch coproductions got support from the Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds: Submarine's documentary 'Journey to the Northern Lights' (dir. Wim van der Aar) and Circe Films' feature film 'Whitetail' (dir. Nanouk Leopold), a coproduction with Kaap Holland Film.

The Melting wins at Berlinale

The Melting (aka Het Smelt), Veerle Baetens' first feature film as a director, has won the ARTEKINO INTERNATIONAL award at the Berlinale Co-production market for its 'exceptional artistic merit'.

Patrick wins Best Flemish Film at the Magrittes

Tim Mielants' first feature film 'Patrick' won Best Flemish Film on February 1st at the annual Magritte du Cinéma ceremony, the French speaking cinema awards.
